Brits with loyalty cards spend more for restaurant freebies

According to Mirror, 92% of adults belong to a loyalty reward card scheme, with the average shopper signed up to three.

The Subway reward card gives 10 points for each £1 with 1,000 points needed for a free 12 inch regular sub. Per the report, Wagamama Stars offers one point for every £10 spent which means one has to spend at least £200 to get the 20 stars required for a complimentary main.

However, KFC customers only need to spend £33 to get the 11 stars needed for £5 off a purchase.
