Deliveroo targets families with shareable £25 menus in the UK
The brand partnered with over 30 UK restaurants to create dishes suitable for sharing.
Deliveroo has announced that it has partnered with over 30 UK restaurants, including brands like wagamama and PizzaExpress, to offer family-friendly, shareable dishes for £25 or under.
Called Family Dineroo, it will offer a curated set of family-friendly, shareable meals for up to four people. The food delivery aggregator said it has worked with its partners to adapt menu formats to create customisable dishes containing multiple portions suitable for sharing, the first time Deliveroo has done so.
The service has options for scheduled deliveries, with consumers able to order their dishes up to five days in advance.
These menus will be available between 4:30pm and 6:30pm on Monday to Thursday, and are exclusive to the Deliveroo app, not available on any other food delivery platform.
According to Deliveroo, the initiative aims to offers an alternative for parents looking to reduce the mental and physical load of weekday family mealtimes.
The roll-out will be phased over the coming months, reaching 30 towns and cities across England, Scotland and Wales. In addition, Dublin will launch at the end of September.
