Chopstix opens at Brent Cross
The opening is another successful launch in shopping centres across the UK.
Pan-Asian QSR brand Chopstix has opened a new store at Brent Cross, a popular shopping destination in North London.
The launch follows another opening in Lexicon Shopping Centre, bringing Chopstix’s total shopping centre operations to 33.
Chopstix has been operating in shopping centres either as a standalone restaurant or as part of a food court set-up, with some hybrid sites offering breakfast menus.
“We’ve been greatly encouraged by the popularity and performance of the Chopstix brand in shopping centres. Our adaptability is a great asset as we can deliver great success across all store categories, with footprints ranging from 200 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft. This versatility is facilitating our rapid expansion, and is the reason we’re now considered the largest Asian QSR in the UK,” Jon Lake, Managing Director of Chopstix, said.
Established in Camden Market in 2002 by entrepreneurs Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, Chopstix celebrated its 20th-anniversary last year. The group has grown steadily over the last two decades, before its busiest-ever year of openings in 2022, when it launched 26 new restaurants, including a first-ever holiday park location at Haven’s Craig Tara Park in Scotland.
