The brand recently showcased at a franchise expo in the US.
Doner Shack relocated its head office to Miami in preparation for its launch in the US.
The brand recently showcased itself at the Franchise Expo South, the largest franchise exhibition in the southern U.S., held in Florida on 6 and 7 September.
“Our debut at the Florida Expo was a great success, providing invaluable exposure for Doner Shack as we enter the US market. The positive reception has reinforced our confidence in expanding into the States,” said Laura Bruce, one of the founders of Doner Shack.
“As we bring Doner Shack to the US, we’re focused on building strong partnerships and establishing a lasting presence in the American QSR market,” Sanjeev Sanghera, one of the founders of Doner Shack, added.
During the exhibition, Doner Shack made a few changes in their menu specifically for the US market, including items such as loaded fries and chicken tenders.
Thiago Vilas Boas, head of operations, also took the opportunity to meet with several suppliers and distributors in preparation for their first US location.
“And now we’re looking forward to having our first US restaurant open in 2025 as well as many more to come across the entire country,” said Sanjeev.
