GDK to enter Indian market

The first location is scheduled to open in early 2026.

German Doner Kebab (GDK) has announced its plan to expand into India, marking its next major international move.

The company has signed a master franchise deal with GBC, which intends to open 450 outlets across India over the next 15 years.

The first location is scheduled to open in early 2026.

The announcement comes after the chain opened its 150th UK outlet and is preparing to launch its first restaurant in Dublin. Backed by investors True and Hero Brands, GDK aims to step up its global and domestic expansion.
