Greggs opens new shop in Westminster Underground Station
The launch created 30 new jobs.
The shop, which will be Greggs’ newest addition to central London, opened on the 23rd of March. Customers will be able to enjoy baked classics such as sausage rolls, steak bakes and pizza, as well as a range of sandwiches and salads. Breakfast will be served until 11am, with hot drinks available throughout the day, including Fairtrade freshly ground coffee. The Balanced Choice range includes a selection of sandwiches, wraps, bakes, salads, soups, porridge, fruit and juices - all for fewer than 400 calories.
Greggs Westminster's shop manager Paul Rich said, “We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome customers in. We hope they enjoy the wide range of tasty items we have on offer.”
Greggs retail and people director Roisin Currie added, “As ‘on-the-go’ eating habits change, we have built on our existing estate of shops to take Greggs where our customers want us to be. As a result, we can now be found in retail parks, industrial estates, office parks and travel hubs. Opening our first tube station shop is an exciting development for Greggs and we can’t wait to start serving Westminster.”
The shop opening times are 6am until 11pm during Mondays to Fridays and 7am until 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
