wagamama goes grab-and-go at Heathrow Airport
The new format tailors the chain for travellers on the move.
TRG Concessions (TRGC), the airport and travel-focused division of The Restaurant Group, has launched a new grab-and-go version of wagamama at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, aimed at passengers looking for quicker dining options whilst travelling.
The concept, called “wagamama ‘on the move,’” adapts the restaurant brand for the airport environment, offering a faster format for travellers eating before boarding or taking food to their gates.
The menu combines wagamama favourites with new items developed for travel, including chicken katsu curry, yasai ramen wrap, and bang bang hash browns.
It also includes breakfast pots, bao buns, gyoza, and wraps, with the range designed around portable meals for passengers moving through the terminal.
