Papa John's launches Bridgewater site
The latest outlet is located on Taunton Road, Bridgewater which is located just south of Bristol.
Papa John’s has announced that Welsh franchisees John O’Brien and Clif Roberson have expanded by opening their seventh Papa John’s franchised store. The entrepreneurs joined Papa John’s in 2015 and now run stores throughout the Welsh Valleys including: Cwmbran, Pontypridd and Merthyr Tydfil, plus several near Bristol employing a total of more than local 120 staff.
Clif Roberson said, “Papa John’s offers the opportunity for energetic and entrepreneurial individuals to be part of a growing, successful business. As a franchisor, the Company is dynamic and supportive and the team is open and transparent. Their enthusiasm and passion for the pizza business has been instrumental in helping us focus on our own growth. Now, our ultimate goal is to open around 15 stores.
“There is no-doubt managing our current seven stores is hard-work, although owning the franchise has offered us a good lifestyle and a fair degree of flexibility,” continued Roberson. “We have managers to help us, all who have all been promoted from within. Interestingly, all of them started out in our very first store and have worked their way up, taking on more responsibility. This is one way we motivate our staff – through training, so they feel valued and they can progress within our organisation.
