PG Fast Food hits Glasgow with ambitious UK plans
A second site is expected to open soon.
PG Fast Food has opened its first UK restaurant in Glasgow, introducing a new fast-casual brand co-founded by Professor Green and the hospitality group Hero Brands.
The restaurant began its operations on 5 March. A second site is expected to open soon as the company starts building its presence in the UK market.
PG Fast Food’s menu centres on filled and sealed “UFO” sandwiches, along with salad and rice bowls. Options include All Day Cheesy Beano, BBQ Chicken, and Pot Roast Beef.
The restaurant also offers “ICE Grapes," frozen grapes served with toppings such as agave or raspberry-based flavours.
Drinks include a range of “dirty sodas," where customers can choose from pre-designed combinations like Cola Cherry Bakewell or Cotton Candy Unicorn or customise their own with different soda bases, flavourings, creams, and purées.
The company plans to expand through franchising and is targeting further openings in cities across the UK.
The business says its structure is designed to support long-term growth through partnerships with franchise operators.
