Pret lines up new Heathrow T5 arrivals shop
The new site will operate a 24-hour kitchen and trial handheld payment devices.
Pret A Manger will open a new outlet in Heathrow Terminal 5 (T5) arrivals later this year, bringing its total number of shops at the airport to nine.
The store will sell Pret’s standard food and drink range, including freshly made items, barista coffee, cold drinks, pastries, and snacks.
Pret will run a 24-hour kitchen at Heathrow, with production adjusted to match demand.
The chain operates more than 220 outlets across UK airports, rail stations, and motorway service areas.
Sixty-three of those travel-location shops have opened in the past 20 months.
The Heathrow T5 arrivals site will also test handheld payment devices, enabling staff to take payments on the shop floor during busy periods.
