
Samworth Brothers acquires West Cornwall Pasty Company
The brand was acquired for an undisclosed amount from private equity investor Endless LLP.
West Cornwall Pasty Co has a network of 52 outlets across the UK offering in pasties and hot food. The change in ownership will include West Cornwall Pasty Co's 33 wholly owned outlets in UK rail stations and high street locations, its 19 franchised stores in Moto service stations, and the company's head office and distribution centre in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Samworth Brothers is a chilled and ambient food manufacturer, operating from 18 businesses across the UK. The company’s consumer brands include the No 1 Cornish pasty favourite, Ginsters, the iconic malt loaf brand, Soreen and leading sports nutrition brand, SCI-MX.
