German Doner Kebab names new chief procurement officer

This appointment will support the restaurant’s global expansion.

German Doner Kebab designated Deon Pillay as chief procurement and sustainability officer in the wake of its global growth plans.

Deon has 18 years of experience of senior supply chain and procurement leadership in popular industries and corporations such as Peloton, Mars, Samsung, and Nando’s.

“Deon’s passion is developing supply chain teams into motivated power houses, forming the necessary foundation and backbone to deliver and maintain operational excellence in the shortest time spans,” read the press release.

Deon also has experience in global expansion as he took Nando’s Grocery “to all corners of the globe and initiated best-in-class processes and supply partners along the way.”
