Prezzo promotes Dean Challenger to CEO role

The brand also named Gwion Iwan as their operations director.

Prezzo has promoted Dean Challenger to chief executive and Gwion Iwan to operations director.

Challenger joined the company in 2018 as its finance director before becoming chief operating officer last year.

Iwan, meanwhile, was previously central operations director as well as holding the North and West region for Prezzo after getting promoted from senior operation manager.

Executive chair Karen Jones is expected to continue to work with the management team on longer-term strategy, brand, design, and the development of Prezzo's food and drink as well as supporting and coaching Prezzo's senior team and others within the business.

The transition also follows the build-out of the management team over the past year with the earlier appointments of Matt Prior as chief financial officer and Olly Smith as chief culinary officer.
