
Sticks′n′Sushi taps Simon Gaske as new CMO
He will oversee brand strategy and develop marketing campaigns.
Sticks′n′Sushi has appointed Simon Gaske as its Chief Marketing Officer.
Gaske has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He will be working closely with CEO Andreas Karlsson as the group continues to expand.
He will be responsible for shaping the brand strategy, developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, driving growth, and ensuring there is a unified approach across departments with a focus on building guest engagement.
Gaske joins the Sticks′n′Sushi team following two years at ETM Group as Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing sales, digital, marketing, and pricing.
Before this, he held positions at Ambl (CMO), a tech start-up specialising in last-minute reservations for restaurants, and as Director of Sales at Stonegate Group.
Founded in Copenhagen in 1994 by half-Danish, half-Japanese brothers Jens and Kim Rahbek and Thor Andersen, Sticks′n′Sushi has grown to include 12 restaurants in and around the Danish capital, 15 in the UK, and three in Berlin, Germany.
UK restaurants can be found in Battersea, Islington, Wimbledon, Covent Garden, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Victoria, King’s Road, Soho, White City, Shoreditch, Kingston, Richmond, Oxford and Cambridge.
