wagamama is UK’s most diverse restaurant workplace

The brand ranked 130th in all of Europe and 1st in the UK among restaurants.

wagamama has been voted as the UK’s most diverse restaurant workplace and has been recognised as one of Europe’s Diversity Leaders in a Financial Times and Statista survey.

“At wagamama, creating safe and inclusive spaces where our teams, guests, and local communities can show up as their true selves have always been a core part of who we are and what we do,” said Thomas Heier, CEO of wagamama.

“We are incredibly proud to see this philosophy come to life in our restaurants every day,” he added.

Out of 850 companies, wagamama ranked 134th in the whole of Europe, whilst it also ranked 47th out of 190 companies for all industries in the UK.

The brand had an overall score of 75.37, and wagamama’s best dimensions were general diversity, gender, and age, in this order.
