Heidi Bakery acquires two Caracoli coffee sites
The chain says the move will allow them to reach more markets.
Heidi Bakery has expanded its food and beverage portfolio following its acquisition of the Caracoli chain.
Through Savills, it has acquired two Caracoli coffee stores in Alresford and Haslemere with the chain acquiring the premises following a company share sale. The stores will continue to trade as Caracoli.
Heidi operates out of two bakeries in Windsor and Farnham.
“At Heidi we care deeply about the food and coffee we serve and so Caracoli was a natural fit. Acquiring the business allows us to get our made-from-scratch food into more markets, whilst adding a solid brand to our portfolio,” Heidi Bakery’s Rory Shanks said. “We’re confident that our new customers will love some of the range we look to introduce - and we’re equally excited to get the famous Caracoli Cookie into Heidi.”
Caracoli was established by Gail Nichols in 2005 with the opening of the Alresford store near Winchester.
