
Pret A Manger says it will support inquest into customer’s death
Celia Marsh died in 2017 after suffering from an allergic reaction.
A spokesperson for Pret a Manger issued a statement as a full inquest into Celia Marsh will begin on 6 September.
Marsh died five years ago from an allergic reaction after eating a sandwich from Pret a Manger.
“Over the past few years, Pret has established an industry-leading approach to helping customers with allergies, through the Pret Allergy Plan. We will continue to do everything we can to make sure that every customer has the information they need to make the right choice for them,” the spokesperson said.
Likewise, the spokesperson sent their condolences to the Marsh family.
“Our deepest sympathies remain with the Marsh family over their terrible loss and we are doing everything we can to support this inquest,” the spokesperson said.
