McDonald's trials Chicken McGriddles in the US
The fast food chain is trialling its new Chicken McGriddle in 11 restaurants in central Ohio.
"We are conducting a small, localized operations test on Chicken McGriddle in 11 restaurants in the central Ohio area. The test – which is focused at breakfast – began last week and will run through March." a McDonald's spokesperson said.
"The Chicken McGriddle is a crispy chicken patty on our classic McGriddle sandwich carrier. We’re looking at a couple of different price points while continuing to offer our customers great value. We’re always looking for new ways to offer relevant tastes to our customers. As with all of our tests, we’re seeking customer feedback, and this region was selected to provide that valuable feedback in this case. It’s premature to determine any outcomes from this test."
