Chilango to launch New Year menu

Gluten-free and vegan options will be featured in the new range.

Chilango has announced that they will be launching their New Year menu on January 2 that are said to be all under 481 calories.

It features their Protein Box that consists of lettuce, pico de gallo salsa, peppers & onions or black beans and Chilango’s chicken. Their Low Carb Box is a gluten-free offering made up of their grilled chicken, lettuce and pico de gallo salsa topped with guacamole.

Also available on the menu is the Vegan Box with coriander-lime rice, layered with peppers & onions, lettuce, black beans, pico de gallo salsa and hand-made guacamole. The chain brought back their Prawn Again Salad that is said to have with more prawns and less calories with ingredients such as grilled prawns, grilled peppers & onions, pico de gallo salsa and sour cream served on a bed of mixed leaves.

“January is traditionally a period where our guests are looking to kick start new eating habits following the festive indulgence. We focused on highlighting a range of dishes under 481 calories, filling, delicious and guilt-free” Sarah Haynes, marketing manager at Chilango, said.
