Chiquito trials savoury churros range
The items will be tested for five weeks.
The Restaurant Group-owned Chiquito is trialling three savoury versions of their churros across all their 83 restaurants nationwide.
The newly-created churros include Chicken and Churros (£5.49), Churro Chilli Nachos (£6.49) and Bacon and Syrup churros (£4.99).
If proven popular with guests, Chiquito says they will join new and classic Mexican dishes on their menu.
This summer, Chiquito launched its new vegan menu that coincided with a brand refresh.
“Inspired by modern flavour pairings, these products will be available for just five weeks from the 23rd September and we hope guests will be thrilled to take our twist on such a well-loved dessert," Chiquito managing director Angelo Gabrilatsou said.
