Chopstix cooks up new summer seasonal offering
The new menu is available across the brand’s more than 90 locations.
Pan-Asian fast-food brand Chopstix has added the Zesty Lemon Chicken to its summer menu.
According to the fast-food brand, this is part of its initiative to focus on menu innovation and new product development. As the pan-Asian QSR sets out to meet consumer demand for increased seasonality in its offer.
Available nationwide, across Chopstix’s 90+ sites, the new topping features peppers, stir-fried onions, a tasty, tangy lemon sauce and succulent chicken breast, and follows a successful seasonal menu campaign last year, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the brand.
The restaurant group launched 4 limited-edition, ‘Anniversary Special’ dishes through 2022, which included K-POP BBQ Chicken, Orange Chicken and Massaman Chicken Curry, all of which have proven to be highly popular with Chopstix customers. The K-POP topping shot to number three in the brand’s volume sales and proved so popular that it will soon become a mainstay on the menu. The positive reception to the Anniversary Specials from Chopstix customers has guided the brand in its approach to offer more seasonal, limited-edition dishes moving forward.
“Sales and consumer sentiment have shown us that our customers really enjoy sampling new limited-edition dishes that speak to seasonality, so we have made this a real focus of our NPD work. The team have done a fantastic job with the new Zesty Lemon Chicken recipe, it’s tasty, tangy, refreshing, full of flavour and is ideal for the summer months – I’m sure it will be a huge hit with Chopstix customers who are looking for a fresh and tasty alternative to other high street staples,” Rob Burns, Marketing Director said.
Chopstix opened 26 stores last year and plans to open another 30 restaurants before the end of 2023.
