Greggs set to trial late-night opening hours
The bakery chain also released its autumn menu.
Greggs is set to a pilot of extended opening hours in selected outlets across the UK.
Some branches already have extended hours, like its store in Westminster closing at 23:00 and another in Newcastle opening until 20:30 or 21:00.
The bakery chain's announcement came as it reported a strong rise in sales and profits, partly due to the popularity of its new vegan sausage roll.
In a separate announcement, the chain unveiled seven new items as part of its autumn menu. The items include the returning Spicy Chicken and Pepperoni Bake, BBQ Chicken and Bacon Toastie, Hot Peri-Peri Chicken Baguette and Chipotle Chicken Steak Baguette.
