Greggs trials new chicken burger

It will only be available in 10 select locations.

Greggs has updated its menu to include a new chicken burger.

Included in the new menu is the all-new Mayo Crispy Chicken Burger, made with chicken breast in a crispy coating with iceberg lettuce and mayonnaise. Alongside this is the Classic Mayo Chicken Wrap made with Southern Fried Chicken Goujons packed in a soft tortilla wrap with mixed leaf, cucumber and a delicious dollop of classic mayonnaise.

Also included is the new Spicy Crispy Chicken Burger a chicken breast in a crispy coating, with iceberg lettuce, chipotle mayonnaise and jalapeño peppers.

The new menu items will be available in only 10 select restaurants:

  • G109 Trinity Square, Gateshead
  • Quorum Park, Longbenton
  • U3B Peel Retail Park, Washington
  • Sandy Lane Drive Thru, Newcastle
  • Unit 4 Salterfen Park, Sunderland
  • Unit 4 Parsons Road Industrial Estate, Washington
  • Integra 61 Drive Thru, Bowburn
  • Unit 4 Cotsford Lane, Horden
  • Bridge Steet, Blaydon

Greggs also announced that it has added oat milk as a milk alternative in its menu.
