
Heavenly Desserts unveils Carrot Cake 2.0 for autumn
The dish takes its inspiration from the South Asian classic, gajar halwa.
Heavenly Desserts is set to launch a new seasonal menu item, Carrot Cake 2.0, on 23 September.
The dish is a spiced carrot and walnut cake soaked in vanilla milk syrup, topped with cheesecake cream, gajar halwa, and pistachios, and served in a sealed tin.
The company says the recipe draws on flavours familiar to many in the UK’s South Asian community, particularly the traditional dessert gajar halwa.
