Honest Burgers launched limited-edition Steak Frites burger
The new item was made in collaboration with French cheese makers Boursin.
Honest Burgers has launched its limited-edition Steak Frites burger to all restaurants, available until 30 August.
Made with French cheese makers Boursin, the new item uses Honest’s beef with smoked bacon, Boursin cheese, shoestring fries, steak sauce, red onion and pickles. This is served with Honest's signature homemade rosemary salted chips, priced at £12.50.
“The genius of steak frites is its simplicity. But the meat and potatoes must be top quality. At our Honest butchery, the beef is chopped, not minced, for a more natural texture that eats like a steak. Our guilty pleasure Boursin ups the decadence with a rich, garlicky hit, while homemade steak sauce (béarnaise cut with Dijon, thyme, parsley and chives) is fresh and sharp enough to cut through it all,” Honest Burgers co-founder Tom Barton said.
