Honest Burgers teams up with Wingmans for first Thai-inspired special
The Thai Fried Chicken burger is exclusively available at all sites from 3rd to 30th March.
Honest Burgers has partnered with Wingmans to create the chain’s first Thai-inspired special.
Available exclusively at all Honest sites from 3rd to 30th March, the Thai Fried Chicken burger features a buttermilk fried chicken thigh with honey sriracha glaze, Thai slaw, crispy shallots, American cheese, ranch mayo and lettuce.
Wingmans' homemade honey sriracha sauce has Thai aromatics and takes 24 hours to make, using kaffir lime leaves, coriander and lemongrass.
The burger launches ahead of the opening of Wingmans' 150-cover restaurant on Old Compton St this spring.
“We love working with like-minded people and Wingmans are contenders for the best fried chicken in London. Our collab(oration) is inspired by their Bang Coq wings...loaded with punchy Thai flavours,” Honest Burgers co-founder Tom Barton said.
“Honest shares the same ethos as we do at Wingmans – serving up fresh, homemade comfort foods with emphasis on flavour. That’s why when it came to hosting a collab combining Honest ingredients with a Wingmans twist it was a no brainer and a recipe for something epic,” Wingmans co-founder David Turofsky added.
