Itsu adds vegan meatballs to rice bowl range
The new menu launch is done in partnership with Meatless Farm.
Itsu announced its latest rice bowl menu addition featuring plant-based meatballs, in part of its plan to turn half of their menu offerings into vegan.
The new vegan item, made in partnership with alternative meat company Meatless Farm, features five plant-based meatballs on top of rice, drizzled with teriyaki sauce and pumpkin seeds.
The meatballs, with 24g of protein, are given an Asian twist, as it is cooked with lemongrass, tamarind, coriander, chilli and garlic and coloured with beetroot, radish, tomato and caramelised carrots.
