The recipe for this new menu item took four years to create.
LEON says that they have finalized the recipe for their gluten-free chicken nuggets (GFC) and is now available in all of their stores.
The GFC, which took the brand a lot of trial and error to create, contains ingredients such as chicken thigh meat, rice, maize and gram flours with a mix of black and white pepper along with a choice of having garlic aioli, chilli and Korean mayo sauces.
To celebrate the new release, they launched the “Find the Golden Nugget Competition”, wherein 50 customers who find a Golden Nugget sticker in their GFC box will win a week’s worth of GFC.
As part of their sustainability agenda, the restaurant is also trialling Can-O water in their outlets at Richmond, Southwark Street, Oxford and Manchester Piccadilly. Can-O promotes the use of recycled aluminium cans as a substitute to plastic bottles which are said to be more harmful to the environment.
