McDonald’s expands McCrispy line with spicy kick and bacon upgrade

McDonald’s UK&I is adding two new permanent versions of its McCrispy chicken burger: the Spicy McCrispy and the Cheese & Bacon McCrispy.

The Spicy McCrispy features a crispy chicken breast fillet with lettuce and a spicy mayonnaise sauce, served in a sesame-topped sourdough-style bun.

The Cheese & Bacon McCrispy includes the same chicken fillet with lettuce, black pepper mayonnaise, cheese, and bacon also in a sourdough-style bun.

The chain is also introducing a spicy mayo dip as a permanent menu item.

It combines mayonnaise with chilli heat and can be used with items like fries, chicken selects, and hash browns, including at breakfast.
