McDonald’s highlights European flavours in new summer menu
Various items will be rolled out across two waves.
McDonald’s is rolling out its summer menu across two waves in June and July.
Launching June 8, the Taste of Italy menu features two new burgers: the Crispy Chicken Italiano and the Italian Stack.
The Crispy Chicken Italiano features crispy chicken fillet in a ciabatta-style bun along with basil pesto sauce, tomato, red onion, lettuce and mozzarella.
The Italian Stack is made up of two beef patties, crispy onions, tomato sauce, lettuce, toasted tomato, cheesy sauce and mozzarella in a herb bun.
A tiramisu-flavoured McFlurry is also available as part of the June rollout.
The second wave, happening on July 27, the Taste of Spain and Cyprus menu will include the Spicy Spanish Stack and the Chicken Fiesta burgers.
The Spicy Spanish Stack contains two beef patties nestled between a paprika bun, spicy tomato sauce, red onion, lettuce and chilli cheddar whilst the Chicken Fiesta includes a crispy chicken fillet with chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, lettuce and red onion.
To go alongside the burgers, customers can also purchase halloumi fries which are served with tomato sauce and a new Spanish Fruit Punch soft drink.
