
Tortilla partners with award-winning sauce maker for new menu launch
Two new toppings will also join the menu.
Tortilla has partnered with the Sauce Shop to launch the new Buffalo Hot Chicken, drenched in the Sauce Shop’s award-winning Buffalo Hot Sauce.
As part of the new menu release, Tortilla is also releasing two exclusive new toppings: the pickled celery and the avocado ranch.
“We’re really excited to be teaming up with Sauce Shop on this launch. Their Buffalo Hot has landed a 3-star Great Taste Award, and for good reason – it’s bold, fiery and seriously tasty. Pairing it with crunchy pickled celery and our smooth avocado ranch gives that classic buffalo, celery and ranch combo a Tortilla twist – big flavour, fresh ingredients and sure to be a crowd pleaser,” James Garland, Director of Food at Tortilla, said.
The Buffalo Hot Chicken with the Sauce Shop’s Buffalo Hot Sauce is available at Tortilla restaurants nationwide, except select university sites, travel hubs, and delivery-only kitchens.
The Sauce Shop was founded in 2014 in a Nottingham home kitchen after its founders became dissatisfied with mass-produced sauces. The company now has a team of around 50 people producing hundreds of thousands of bottles each week. Its products are sold in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda, Waitrose, and online.
