Veggie Pret stores get vegan bakery counter

It also added eight new vegan desserts.

Pret A Manger has today launched its first-ever new vegan bakery counter in all Veggie Pret stores.

It has also added eight new vegan desserts to the Veggie Pret menu, available for takeaway and delivery from Tuesday, July 21.

The range includes three new vegan croissants, two vegan brownies and three vegan muffins, all of which will be sold alongside two existing vegan bakery items - the Very Berry Croissant and the Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookie.

“Expanding Veggie Pret’s offering for our vegan customers has been a huge focus of our food development over the last year and moving to an entire vegan bakery is very much the result of that,” Pret A Manger managing director Clare Clough said. "Our previous vegan bakery products, like the Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookie and The Very Berry Croissant have always been big hits with customers – vegan and non-vegan alike.”

Veggie Pret’s Vegan Bakery is now available in Pret shops and for delivery via Pret Delivers, Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
