Asian-fusion street food concept Tiger Bites joins Deliveroo's Editions kitchen in Whitechapel
The duo behind the brand are also getting marketing support from the delivery company.
Asian-fusion street food concept Tiger Bites is now delivering to customers in East London via Deliveroo.
Tiger Bites, who won the backing of Deliveroo’s CEO and co-founder Will Shu on BBC’s My Million Pound Menu, has taken up residency at their latter’s delivery-only Editions kitchen in Whitechapel.
“By moving into our own kitchen in Deliveroo Editions we will be able to grow our business and take the next step towards making that dream a reality. It can be tough taking the next step in this industry, especially with the huge up-front costs of fitting and opening a restaurant, but delivery means more people can try our baos letting the food speak for itself,” Tiger Bites co-founder Scott De Lima said in an announcement.
“I’m really pleased to give them the space to grow their business and bring great food to more people, helping them on their journey to opening a bricks and mortar restaurant,” Deliveroo co-founder and CEO Will Shu added.
The street food concept was founded in 2017 and is known for their various takes on bao buns, including their Peanut Butter Jelly Chicken Bao.
