Homeslice Pizza opens first vegan site

The move is done in collaboration with Neil Rankin’s Symplicity Foods.

Homeslice Pizza is opening its first all-vegan restaurant in collaboration with alt-meat brand Symplicity Foods, replacing an existing location on Old Street in Shoreditch, London.

The chain’s founders Alan and Mark Wogan are both partners in Symplicity, saying that plant-based pizzas offered at the chain’s conventional sites have proven highly popular.

Toppings available at the new restaurant will include meatballs and marinara sauce; Italian sausage, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, and pangratatto; and Bolognese sauce, red onion, and rosemary.

Symplicity was founded by trained butcher Neil Rankin, known for his Smokehouse and Temper restaurants.
