numnum launches in Southwark

The outlet follows a successful pop up in Brick Lane.

Contemporary Chinese fast casual restaurant numnum has opened its doors in Southwark.

The new 40-seater restaurant is serving modern Southern Chinese wok dishes to eat in or takeaway.

The numnum kitchen is headed up by a team of Chinese chefs all from different regions of Southern China. The menu features seasonal ingredients used in various noodle, rice and roasted dishes in addition to side dishes.

Some of the highlight dishes include their Dan Dan Noodles, made with sesame paste, peppercorn and pressed tofu; their Wonton Noodle Soup, featuring eight hour chicken broth, prawn and pork wonton, bok choi; and Twice Cooked Pork, with pork belly, leek, fermented broad bean paste.

Guests will be able to get a meal for two people for under £20 and will be able to order on Deliveroo and Uber Eats in addition to visiting the restaurant itself.
