Burger King eyes 60 more restaurants in the next 2 years
The fast-food giant revealed higher sales but lower profits for the past year.
Burger King plans to open 60 restaurants in the next two years, a report by the Independent said.
According to Burger King chief executive Alasdair Murdoch, the business delivered good growth during the year, despite industry-wide headwinds.
“Our remodelling programme is well underway with 42 restaurants being upgraded during 2022 and 2023, and we are progressing our menu innovation to cater to all preferences,” Murdoch said.
The fast-food giant saw pre-tax earnings fall to £15.2m from £33.1m a year earlier, despite the increase in sales due to higher cost inflation.
