Island Poké opens first UK location outside of London
It has plans to open 100 locations across the UK in the next five years.
Island Poké has launched a new site in Bicester Village shopping centre, its first location outside of London.
The new outlet is a kiosk unit along the main thoroughfare with enough seating for up to 40 people.
“It’s our mission to grow across the UK and beyond, bringing people a great and fresh alternative to the traditional lunch and dine-out offering, and we feel that there is a great match between our loyal customers and those that shop at Bicester Village,” Island Poké founder James Gould-Porter said in a media release about the opening.
The poké operator, which is part of the Hero Brands group, is set to embark on its biggest growth ambition yet, with plans to open 100 locations across the UK in the next five years including plans for four new restaurants in Edinburgh. It currently has 18 outlets in London and nine in France.
