Yum! Brands’ KFC division to acquire EG Group’s 218 KFC units

EG Group is KFC’s largest franchisee in the UK and Ireland.

Yum! Brands’ KFC Division has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire over 200 KFC restaurants from EG Group, the company’s largest KFC franchisee in the UK and Ireland.

Once completed, all privately-owned business KFC UK and Ireland businesses of EG Group will be under Yum’s KFC UK and Ireland’s direct control.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal is expected to be finalised by the end of the first half of 2024.
