Chart of the Week: QSR spending ahead of pre-pandemic levels in February

Said spending was up 5.5% year-on-year.

Spending in QSRs rose 5.5% year-on-year to £1.92 billion in February of this year, data from The NPD Group showed, as crowds enjoy more relaxed rules in restaurants and other dining spaces.

The numbers are way ahead of pre-pandemic levels, with February 2021 at £1.819 billion, £1.866 billion for February 2020 and £1.804 billion for February 2019.
