Shake Shack collaborates with another artist to open in Oxford

The restaurant will be located at Cornmarket Street.

Shake Shack has collaborated with Illustrator and Muralist, Ellie Fryer to open a new restaurant in Oxford.

Set over three floors, the new restaurant will open early next year with a prime location on Cornmarket Street, a major pedestrian shopping hub in Oxford’s historic centre.

The restaurant will feature a unique illustration for the building's exterior. The inspiration was taken from the rich historical and mythical tapestry surrounding this celebrated city.

Incorporating some of Shake Shack’s signature menu items with an ‘olden’ twist, the artworks focus on bringing to life the stories, legends and cultural heritage of an Oxford past.

This is not the first time Shake Shack has collaborated with a local artist to enhance the aesthetics of its restaurants. In February, it collaborated with London-based artist Aga Giecko to open its Camden restaurant. In March, Shake Shack opened another restaurant with a London-based artist.
