Chinese hotpot chain Hai Di Lao to make UK debut at Piccadilly Circus

This also serves as the chain's first entry into Europe.

Hai Di Lao is set to make its UK debut with its first site at the Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus, London.

The global Chinese hot pot chain agreed to a new 15-year lease and will occupy the site totalling just under 10,000 sq ft.

This flagship restaurant also marks the brand's first entry into Europe, and follows the recent launch of its branch in Times Square, New York.

Real estate firm Savills advised Hai Di Lao.

“Hai Di Lao is a globally recognised brand with fans of the concept worldwide. It is testament to London’s reputation as a foodie capital that it has chosen the city as its first European destination. The chain already has its sights set on expansion both in the UK and across Europe and we are very pleased to have secured this prime spot for its flagship restaurant,” Richard Thomas, associate director in the Leisure team at Savills, said.

Hai Di Lao currrenly has over 300 locations worldwide.
