GDK launches first pink kebabs in UK
The new product is available nationwide on 11 July.
The German Doner Kebab (GDK), a premium kebab chain, is serving “Coco & Kiki’s” kebabs, the UK’s first pink kebabs.
“Served in fluffy pink coconut-infused waffle bread, the kebabs come in two different sizes (Coco and Kiki) and are combined with doner meats, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, red cabbage, making it an unforgettable taste sensation for this summer,” read the announcement.
GDK partnered with some of the British music talent including Tion Wayne, Ivorian Doll, Bryn, Nadia Rose and Stefflon Don for the pink kebabs’ debut.
The kebabs were launched at Wireless festival at Finsbury Park on 8 July and are available in the UK starting 11 July. Customers can purchase the Coco kebab for £6.99 and Kiki kebab for £3.
The Coco & Kiki kebabs are available for indoor dining options, takeaway at all GDK restaurants from Monday and for delivery from August.
