HMSHost to open Starbucks, Comptoir Libanais outlets at McArthurGlen's Ashford Designer Outlet
The companies look to reflect evolving consumer habits.
A Starbucks outlet and a Comptoir Libanais restaurant is expected to open at McArthurGlen’s Designer Outlet in Ashford in October 2019.
This was the result of food & beverage locations provider HMSHost International’s extended partnership with the designer outlet developer.
The new agreement signed by HMSHost International and McArthurGlen builds on the experience of the cooperation of eight locations at the Designer Outlet Roermond in the Netherlands and the recent opening of two locations at Cheshire Oaks, which has 8 million visitors each year.
“Outlet shopping locations have shown a tremendous growth. Especially in the UK and we are proud to be part of that success. We share a commitment for innovation as well as to help our guests customers feel good with their food choices,” HMSHost International CEO Walter Seib said.
“McArthurGlen welcomes over 90 million guests a year and we constantly review our food & beverage offer to reflect evolving consumer habits. By developing a balanced mix of internationally renowned F&B brands combined with iconic domestic operators, we will continue to offer our guests the best shopping experience when they come to visit us,” added Michiel Reuvers, Group Director of Foodservice at McArthurGlen Group.
