Nando's partners with Waterscan for water procurement work

Waterscan will conduct margin analysis to assist in the bid evalution.

The independent water consultancy has been briefed to advise the company on the English water market and provide a data set for the tender process.

Nando's head of indirect procurement Cameron Holder said, “We have always taken our responsibilities as a business very seriously. Having firmly embedded waste reduction principles and procurement processes in our business, we now turn our attention to water. We are excited by the possibilities that the open market offers us and trust Waterscan’s considerable expertise and data insight to guide us toward optimising water consumption and cost savings throughout our English restaurant portfolio.”

Waterscan’s account director James Goodall said, “We are delighted to be working with this forward-thinking and responsible hospitality business. Our first task is to thoroughly review Nando’s billing data to better understand current usage so that we can help them drive down consumption and costs. The resulting data analysis will assist the Nando’s procurement team to make a well-informed decision about its choice of water supplier and ultimately achieve their best possible tender outcome.”
