Popeyes UK partners with SSP to open first airport location
It will open airside in early summer 2025.
Popeyes UK has teamed up with SSP Group to launch a major new partnership that will bring the fast-growing chicken brand to UK travel hubs, starting with a flagship opening at Birmingham Airport.
The first location will open airside in early summer 2025, just in time for peak holiday travel. It will offer Popeyes' full all-day menu, including the popular Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and new Saucin’ Boneless range. The recently launched breakfast menu will also be available until 11am daily.
All chicken served is halal, marinated for 12 hours in Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and fried for Popeyes’ signature crunch.

Founded in 1972 in New Orleans, Popeyes® now operates around 4,000 restaurants globally. Since launching in the UK in 2021, Popeyes UK has grown to over 65 sites and plans to reach 350 by 2031.
