
Taco Bell to open 58th UK restaurant in Edinburgh
The outlet will welcome customers starting 30 April.
Taco Bell will open a new restaurant in Shandwick Place, Edinburgh on 30 April, marking the brand’s 58th UK restaurant opening.
Customers will be able to order in advance via the Taco Bell app, website or third-party delivery platform or use the digital kiosks in-store to takeaway, the chain said.
The Edinburgh site boasts a 68 seater restaurant, six order kiosks, with delivery via Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
Lucy Dee, Head of Marketing at Taco Bell UK, said: “Edinburgh has been crying out for a Taco Bell and we’re very pleased to be able to deliver and create local jobs despite challenging circumstances.”
Raja Adil, CEO of The Adil Group, a franchisee for Taco Bell, added: “This will be our 7th Taco Bell opening in Scotland and with even more planned this year, it’s never been more exciting! I have been looking for a location here for a long time and it gives me great pride to be able to deliver Taco Bell to the people of Edinburgh.”
Fast food chain Taco Bell is planning to open its first ever restaurant in Blackpool.

The Adil Group is also looking to open its first ever Taco Bell in Blackpool.
Plans submitted revealed the restaurant will be around 985 sq ft on the ground floor and 1,305 sq ft on the first floor. It would be open every day from 10:30am to 11pm and is expected to seat around 66 customers in total, with 10 seats on the ground level and 56 on the first floor.
The restaurant is will also have a drive-thru, along with ten car parking spaces including one disabled bay, one staff bay and an order waiting bay.
