Wendy’s to open four new restaurants across UK
Locations in Newcastle, Rutland, and London are amongst the list of new restaurants set to open.
Wendy’s has continued its expansion across the UK with new restaurants set to open in Newcastle, Rutland, Colchester, and London, creating approximately 120 jobs across four locations.
The brand also entered into a development agreement with Khidmat Limited to bring six Wendy’s restaurants to Englanders in the Southwest.
The new restaurants in Newcastle in the North and on Fulham Road in London are set to open soon; while the Rutland location may be expected later this year.
“With more than 30 restaurants already open, these plans reflect our ambition to expand to 400 locations nationwide,” said Michael Clarke, U.K. managing director, Europe for The Wendy’s Company.
At the new restaurants, customers will find the same items they know from the US, including the Baconator, Dave’s Double, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and the Frosty dessert, which is available in chocolate and vanilla.
Customers can also try the Frozen Hot Chocolate Frosty, available for a limited time only.
Alongside this, there is an exclusive range of items tailored to Brits, such as the Avocado Chicken Club, Curry Bean Burger, and chicken nuggets made from whole chicken breast fillet.
Wendy's also offers a breakfast menu, including the Breakfast Baconator, the Classic Egg & Cheese Sandwiches with optional bacon or sausage, and the new Egg Double Stack packed with two cracked eggs, plus a range of coffee options including flat whites, cappuccinos, and lattes.
