Pret A Manger names Stefan Porter as Chief Supply Chain Officer
He will oversee the company’s global procurement and logistics.
Pret A Manger has appointed Stefan Porter as its new Chief Supply Chain Officer, a role created to oversee procurement and logistics as the business looks to expand internationally.
Porter joins from the Azzurri Group, where he was Group Commercial Director.
There, he was responsible for commercial operations spanning purchasing, supply chain, retail functions, sustainability, energy procurement, quality, and technical standards across the group’s restaurant portfolio, including ASK Italian, Zizzi, Coco di Mama, and Dave’s Hot Chicken.
Before that, he spent eight years at Lidl GB, where he rose to senior buying director.
In that period, he led multiple buying teams, worked with senior leadership at both the UK and international levels, and managed supplier relationships in a highly competitive grocery retail market.
At Pret, his remit will cover supply chain operations, logistics, procurement, technical standards, and sustainability across the company’s global operations.
