Richard Pigott takes helm at Boparan Restaurant Group

The former CEO stepped down after a six-year tenure.

Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG) has appointed Richard Pigott as managing director, following the resignation of  Satnam Leihal as CEO after six years.

Pigott has been with BRG for over nine years, since opening the first Slim Chickens restaurant in 2018. Pigott led Slim Chickens as head of operations, launching and expanding the brand in the UK.

In the last two years, Pigott was the Director of Operations of BRG.

Pigott’s career encompasses several years in restaurant operations, working with Giraffe, The Restaurant Group, and Rosa’s Thai Cafe.
