Twelve McDonald’s managers take home customer service awards
The restaurant managers won the annual Ray Kroc awards.
Franchisees and regional staff were asked to nominate those who they felt deserved recognition and the winners were selected by a committee of representatives from McDonald's Europe operations, training, and human resources teams.
The winners are Debbie Park, Claire Potter, Lucy Dunbar, Anuj Gupta, Kerry Dore, Vicky Ellison, Lee D’Arcy, Pramesh Giri, Daniel Taylor, Daniel Staines, Nicola Edward, and Majdi Allan.
Paul Pomroy, CEO of McDonald’s UK, said: “Being able to recognise and reward our hardworking employees is something that we pride ourselves in.”
“McDonald’s is well known for nurturing and encouraging talent and continues to acknowledge the members of staff who go above and beyond. Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Ray Kroc Awards on their well-deserved win.”
Claire Potter, the Business Manager who has recently taken over the McDonald’s restaurant in Clifton, was one of this year’s Ray Kroc Award winners.
She said: “I considered it a huge honour just being nominated by my franchisee, but to actually win the Ray Kroc award is a fantastic achievement. I have been part of the McDonald’s team for over thirteen years now, and this is the highlight of my career.”
“Winning the award wasn’t just down to me, it was definitely a team effort. I’d like to thank all the managers and crew members who have worked with me, as well as my franchisee for all their support, as I certainly couldn’t have done this without them.”
